Some notes on testing in more 'real' conditions

Not sure what test packages you guys are using today.  The best thing I'd suggest to do would be to use the real packages, which you can get this way:

You can then upload some or all of these to the server gallery.  Then the real test is to use the latest NuGet client to install packages from your feed and make sure it all works.

Also, for some things like Tags which the client doesn't yet support, you can just look at the feed and make sure it's generated. e.g. T4MVC has tags T4 and MVC that should end up in the feed.

Hopefully we can iron out some of the remaining issues next week and have fully working scenarios.  We're not very far off! :)

For most of the tests we've done we've used real packages pulled from the feed at: I assume these packages are the same as what we get by pulling that repo and building?

You should use instead. Right now they're the same packages, but that could change later.

But if you want them all at once, the steps above are a lot simpler :)
